CVHS Objectives

The Center for Veterinary Health Sciences established objectives are to provide:

Superior veterinary medical educational opportunities which will prepare graduates for varied careers in the veterinary medical profession
A center for maintaining animal health and welfare by means of medical, surgical, and diagnostic laboratory services
A center for investigation of animal diseases, both infections and non-infectious including those affecting human health
Practicing veterinarians and other scientific workers, the newest information for preventing and controlling animal diseases through continuing education programs.
