Wednesday, 21 November 2007 09:11

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is asking small ruminants owners to participate in a survey on sheep and goat pregnancy toxemia. The goal of the survey is to identify management practices of pregnant ewe or doe that contribute to pregnancy toxemia.

Coordinated by Dr. Melanie Boileau, Food Animal Medicine, the survey solicits information about the herd type, size, type of feed provided, vaccination protocol, deworming practices, as well as pregnant female management.

The survey is available on line at (Pregnancy Toxemia in sheep & goat - Survey). For additional information, please contact Dr. Boileau at (405) 744-6855.
