(March 16, 2010 Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will hold a Pet Care Seminar on Tuesday, April 6, at 7 p.m. in the McElroy Hall Auditorium located at the corner of Farm Road and McFarland on the Stillwater campus. Sandra Morgan, DVM, will present “Beware—Home and Garden Toxins.”
Dr. Morgan will share important information with pet owners about potential dangers for their animals. She will discuss common things in the home and around the yard that can potentially be harmful to pets including various plants and human medications.
Morgan holds a joint assignment as an associate professor in the Department of Physiological Sciences and a toxicologist for the center’s Oklahoma Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Toxicologists and earned her DVM degree from OSU in 1980.
