| OSU Veterinary Center Offers Pet Care Seminar |

(August 12, 2009 Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is once again offering its Pet Care Seminars, which are open to the public at no charge. The first seminar will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 1, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in McElroy Hall auditorium on the Stillwater campus. Dr. Paul DeMars, with Small Animal Community Practice at the OSU Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, will present information on canine influenza. Canine influenza is viral respiratory infection that is quite contagious. Recently a vaccine has been conditionally released to protect dogs and Dr. DeMars will discuss what dog owners need to know.
