OSU Veterinary Center Offers Pet Care Seminar PDF Print E-mail

(September 15, 2009 Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will host a Pet Care Seminar on Tuesday, October 6, at 7 p.m. in McElroy Hall auditorium on the Stillwater campus. Pet Care Seminars are open to the public at no charge.

Mary Bowles, DVM, Dipl. American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, will present information on urinary incontinence in pets, which is a common problem. Numerous causes of urinary incontinence exist and can often be successfully diagnosed and treated. Bowles is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at the OSU Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital.

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is one of 28 veterinary colleges in the United States and is fully accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association. The center’s Boren Veterinary Medial Teaching Hospital is open to the public and provides routine and specialized care for small and large animals.
