Veterinary Student receives National Scholarship Award PDF Print E-mail

STILLWATER, Okla.—Megan Downing, Animal Science major and current veterinary student at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, was recognized recently as a National Block and Bridle Outstanding Student at the National Block and Bridle Convention.

Downing received the 1st place National Outstanding Junior Scholarship Award. Block and Bridle strives to promote animal agriculture both on and off campus. Oklahoma State University’s chapter is one of many located across the nation. Downing is a member of the class of 2011.
