STILLWATER, Okla.—Bill and Sallie Morris of Lubbock, Texas, are passionate about kids and dogs. The couple has donated $1 million to the Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences to support fund small animal critical care at the Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. But their generosity doesn’t stop there. The couple has constructed a Safe House for dogs at their home in Lubbock and spend 6 to 9 hours a day caring for these rescued animals.
