| Exotic Pets to be featured at Community Pet Care Seminar |

(October 22, 2008 Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will host a Pet Care Seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008, in McElroy Hall Auditorium at the corner of McFarland and Farm Road on the Stillwater campus. Dr. Cornelia Ketz-Riley, Clinical Assistant Professor in Exotic Pets and Zoological Medicine, will present “Health Care of Pocket Pets.” Ketz-Riley will share tips on basic care (husbandry and nutrition) of pocket pets, such as rodents, guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, hedgehogs and more. She will also talk about what makes these animals good, or not so good, pets as well as common diseases to look for. Some of these “critters” will be in attendance!
