Veterinary Student Receives Award for Exceeding Expectations PDF Print E-mail

Brandon Dutton, a fourth year veterinary student at OSU’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, received the Above and Beyond Award for the summer 2007 semester.

Dutton was recognized for providing exceptional care and compassion during the treatment of a patient. He demonstrated tireless work ethic and desire to provide the best possible outcome, spending up to 20 hours per day with his patient. Dutton will receive $250 and a plaque.

The Above and Beyond Award was established by grateful clients to recognize behavior that exceeds what would normally be expected from fourth year veterinary students. Four awards are given annually. Veterinary Clinical Sciences faculty, administration and support staff at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital nominate potential recipients.
