Gordon first to receive Novartis Veterinary Parasitology Scholarship PDF Print E-mail

This year Novartis established a Veterinary Parasitology Scholarship at the OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences.

To be eligible, veterinary students must demonstrate a commitment to Veterinary Parasitology after the end of the fall second year Parasitology course.

The first recipient of the scholarship is Sarah Gordon, who is originally from Bartlesville, Okla. Gordon is in the Class of 2009 and received a certificate and $500 at the Veterinary Center’s Annual Awards Banquet. The event was held recently at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus.

The OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences awarded more than $208,100 at this year’s banquet thanks to generous donors such as Novartis.
