The Veterinary Center has long partnered with area schools to help inspire learning in young children and encourage them to explore the sciences. Veterinary students use the information they have learned in class to explain the comparative traits of veterinary medicine.
Approximately 48 elementary students were visited by 14 teams of veterinary students. The lung dissection project was organized by Sabrina Vobornik, Class of 2009, and Katie Cope, Class of 2008.
