SCAVMA prizes included a print donated by Dr. James Lish, assistant professor of Physiological Sciences; a photo taken by Lauren Cunningham, Class of 2009; a painting by Melissa Tillotson, Class of 2009; and baskets of treats donated by various College of Veterinary Medicine clubs. A special thanks to Nestlé Purina and Hill’s for donating dog treats, bandanas and Frisbees for the baskets and to Bayer Animal Health Division for providing pet waste collection bags. A total of $132 was raised by these veterinary students who volunteered their time on a Saturday. All proceeds were donated to the Humane Society of Stillwater. The Oklahoma State Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is one of 28 veterinary colleges in the United States and is fully accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
