You’re Invited to OSU’s Veterinary Center PDF Print E-mail

(February 24, 2012   Stillwater, OK) – It’s time to visit Oklahoma’s only veterinary college located on the west end of Oklahoma State University’s Stillwater campus.  The OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences will host its Annual Open House on Saturday, March 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.  There is no charge to attend.  The center is located on Farm Road between Western and McFarland.

The public is welcome to see what tomorrow’s veterinarians are learning, to discover facilities and technologies available to treat pets and animals of all species, and to experience a variety of exhibits and live animal demonstrations.  Live and silent auctions will be hosted by the center’s Avian, Exotic and Zoo Medicine Service.  Proceeds will help fund medical and surgical care of local wildlife.

No personal pets are allowed and children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.  Children are encouraged to bring a torn stuffed animal for mending during Teddy Bear Surgery (appointments recommended by calling 405-744-6961).

Join us on March 3 and learn more about your state’s veterinary center!
