The ophthalmology service at Oklahoma State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital provides referral and consultation services for veterinarians and clients pursuing diagnostics and treatment for veterinary patients with ophthalmic disease. The Ophthalmology service provides services for all species.
Diagnostic Services Available

Examples of Ophthalmic Diseases Treated at OSU:
Keratoconjunctivitis sicca (Dry eye)
Tumors in and around the eye
Examples of Ophthalmic Surgery Performed at OSU:
Cataract surgery with intraocular lens implant
Endolaser surgery for glaucoma
Example of a dog with a complete (mature) cataract.
Example of a normal optic nerve and retina in a dog.
Appointments & Office Hours
Teaching Hospital hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
Ophthalmology appointment days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Patient visits are by appointment only or on an emergency basis by referral through your veterinarian.
