OSU Associate Dean Malayer named new EPSCoR Director PDF Print E-mail

(December 9, 2009 Stillwater, OK) – The Oklahoma Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research has named Dr. Jerry R. Malayer as director of the program starting Jan. 1, 2010. Malayer is the associate dean for research and graduate education at the Center for Veterinary Health Sciences at OSU, where he has been employed since 1994. He also serves as a professor of physiological sciences in the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine. Malayer replaces Dr. Frank Waxman, who will retire Dec. 31. For more details, click here.

 

The Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is one of 28 veterinary colleges in the United States and is fully accredited by the Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association. The center’s Boren Veterinary Medial Teaching Hospital is open to the public and provides routine and specialized care for small and large animals.
