Graduate Teaching Assistantships
. A limited number of graduate teaching assistantships (GTAs) are available for those applicants with qualifications to instruct in veterinary anatomy, histology, infectious diseases and parasitology. All applicants are assessed for their suitability to serve as GTAs. GTAs hold 12-month 0.5 FTE salary positions at the 100% National Institutes of Health pre-doctoral pay scale with paid major medical insurance and receive instate tuition and fees rates and a tuition wavier for six credit h for fall and spring and three credit h for summer semester.


Graduate Research Assistantships. A limited number of graduate research assistantships (GRAs) are available for those applicants with interests and qualifications in particular areas of research. The potential for applicants to serve as GRAs as assessed for their suitability to serve as GRAs for particular research projects are evaluated initially based on applicant statements of interest and coursework on college transcripts. GRAs hold either 9 or 12-month 0.5 FTE salary positions with paid major medical insurance and receive instate tuition and fees rates and a tuition wavier for six credit h for fall and spring semesters (and three credit h for summer semester for 12-month positions).
