McKeirnan Joins OSU Veterinary Faculty PDF Print E-mail

(July 10, 2012   Stillwater, OK) – Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences is pleased to welcome Kelci McKeirnan, DVM, of Stillwater as a clinical instructor in small animal surgery.  Dr. McKeirnan has just completed a three year small animal surgery residency at the center’s Veterinary Medical Hospital and accepted the offer to stay on.


McKeirnan came to OSU after earning her DVM degree from Washington State University in 2007.  Here she completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship followed by one year of an American Board of Veterinary Practitioners residency before beginning her small animal surgery residency.

Hargrave Named Stratton Staff Award Recipient PDF Print E-mail

A Bad Bug PDF Print E-mail

(May 15, 2012   Stillwater, OK) – The May 2012 issue of America’s Horse features an article about a bad bug that is difficult to treat—sporotrichosis. The article highlights treatment the infected horse received at the time at OSU’s veterinary hospital provided by Drs.
