Born 60 days early, the odds that the calf would survive were slim. According Dr. John Gilliam at the OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences (CVHS), calves normally don’t survive if they are born more than two weeks before their due date.

Josh is now an 11-month old potbelly pig. He lives at Hamalot Farms, a potbelly pig rescue organization owned and operated by Ms. Tracy McDaniel. He shares his pen with two sows, one gilt and 11 other piglets.

STILLWATER, Okla.—Ms. Hilary Branscum, Oak Hollow Bordeaux (www.oakhollowbordeaux.com), of Pink, Okla., is an owner/handler/breeder of Dogue de Bordeaux show dogs also called the French Mastiff. She took Nellie, a 3 ½ year old Dogue de Bordeaux, to Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Center for Veterinary Health Sciences to have her bred. Rocky was a homeless cat and loved by all in the neighborhood, but especially by Dottie Witter. For a cat, he has a lot of character. According to Dottie, he loves to ride in trucks and likes men. Before she took him into her home, and moved to the country, she had to watch him closely. It seems Rocky was fond of joining a neighbor who drove a tow truck and took many night calls.
