Pet Care Seminar - Do Pets Get Arthritis?

Speaker: Lara Sypniewski, DVM
Veterinarian Dr. Lara Sypniewski will present “Managing Arthritis in the Aging Pet” on Tuesday, May 7, at 7 p.m. in McElroy Hall Auditorium at Oklahoma State University’s Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. The seminar is open to the public at no charge. McElroy Hall is located at the corner of McFarland and W. Farm Road on the OSU Stillwater campus.
Dr. Sypniewski will discuss how osteoarthritis develops in the dog. She will also share some simple things owners can do for their pets at home to help prevent or treat osteoarthritis.
Having earned her DVM degree from Purdue University, Dr. Sypniewski joined OSU’s Veterinary Medical Hospital in 2009. She now holds the Henthorne Clinical Professorship in Small Animal Medicine, is a diplomate in the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is a Certified Veterinary Medical Acupuncturist. Dr. Sypniewski is a Community Practice clinician and sees veterinary patients Monday through Friday.
