| Job Description | Houston Veterinary Clinic is a modern facility located on the fringe of a large residential area in a rapidly growing community. This moderately-paced practice is one that allows care over high volume. The pace of the practice is one that allows adequate time for the mentoring of a recent graduate. Our fully computerized practice has been a certified American Animal Hospital Association member hospital since 1985. We have excellent diagnostic equipment, including a 300 Ma X-Ray machine, Vet Test 8008 blood chemistries analyzer, Vet Lyte electrolyte analyzer, and Laser Cyte blood cell counter. Surgical equipment includes electrocautery, ultrasonic dental scaler and polisher, pulse oximeter, and isoflurane anesthesia. We have two licensed veterinary techs on staff which allow for in-house hematology, cytology, urinalysis, ect. We have online services with the Veterinary Information Network. 2008 graduates as well as experienced doctors will be considered.
