Hometown Animal Hospital and Dental Clinic is looking for an associate veterinarian.   We are hoping to cultivate a relationship with someone just graduating from school in order to integrate them into our practice for a perfect fit; however we are also interested in an experienced veterinarian who will acclimate quickly.  

The hospital is an AAHA certified clinic, and sees dental referrals from veterinary practices in Florida and nearby states, as well as general medical and surgical cases.   In addition to general practice, Dr. Bellows and his staff are heavily involved in teaching dentistry through hands-on seminars at the clinic.

Our in-house laboratory consist of an IDEXX VetTest unit that downloads cbc results directly into our veterinary software, as well as an Abaxis unit that downloads profiles and electrolytes.   Antech laboratory results are uploaded via the internet, and placed directly into patient computer records.   Blood gas and coagulation tests are performed in-house, and cardiac testing is done via Vetronics ECG Analyzer.   Our practice also has a digital x-ray system and an ultrasound machine.   A boarded radiologist reviews all of our images.   Each patient exam room, and the treatment area is equipped with MedRx Vetscopes that broadcast close-up ear images on screen.   We also have Olympus Videoscope for endoscopy.   Many of our surgical procedures are performed with our CO₂ laser.   Patients receive modern anesthesia monitoring.    Our intra oral dental digital radiology capabilities allow us also to receive instant messages.
