| Job Description | At Los Caballos Veterinary Hospital, we aim to provide exemplary care, through compassion and respect for our patients, commitment and dedication to the bettermetn of veterinary medicine, and a steadfast integrity in continued service to our community. Los Caballos Veterinary Hospital is nestled in the Valle De Los Caballos in Temecula, California wine country. It is located adjacent to the southern California Equestrian Center and is expanding to provide services to clients within a sixty mile radius of the hospital. The practice has existed for over thirty years and currently consists of three veterinarians. Veterinarians in the practice provide Medical and Surgical care for all species of large animals, including: horses, cattle camelids, pigs, sheep, goats and exotic large animal species. Los Caballos is a progressive, large- animal hospital. In-house, ambulatory and emergency care are available twenty-four hours a day. At Los Caballos, we perform: elective surgery, endoscopy, digital ultrasound, digital radiography, in-house diagnostics and laboratory, reproductive services, intensive care, herd management, in-house farrier adn specialty denistry services. Veterinarians at Los Caballos Veterinary Hospital are also adjunct professors for Western University Veterinary School, and therefore teach veterinary students as they complete rotations and externships at LCVH. We are currently seeking a 4th associate to join our practice. Please note that this individual must have a signigicant amount of large animal experience. New graduates are welcome to apply if this requirement is met. Duties include ambulatory and hosptial medicine. We provide care for all species of large animals. Experience with multiple large animal species is expected. Truck, equipment and technician will be provided. After one year, or as deemed appropriate, compenstation will be changed to a base plus percentage. Buy-in or partnership potential is a possiblity. |
