Rippowam Animal Hospital is seeking a new energetic young graduate to join our team. We have a beautiful state-of-the-art small animal only hospital in affluent Stamford Connecticut. (About 35 min from New York City)

This practice offers a new graduate a unique opportunity to practice veterinary medicine the way you have been taught. Our clientele allows us to work up cases and expects the best veterinary medicine has to offer.

We are a three doctor practice and have a wonderful support staff. Appointments are never done without an assistant or technician, allowing proper thorough examination of each case. There are 2-3 technicians per veterinarians and they are highly skilled and dedicated.

Our hospital is equipped with all th new bells and whistles- some of what we have is as follows. State-of-the-art ICU facilities- all cages are heated and have oxygen access. Human standard surgical and seperate dental suites with digital dental radiography. Video guided rigid or flexible endoscopy stations. Ultrasound- new Mylab 30. All prep, surgical, dental , endoscopy stations have their own anesthesia machines and patient monitoring and warning equipment. We have our own oxygen on site and have two oxygen/ nebulization cages and a state-of-the-art ICU climate control cage. Our in-house lab consist of two chemistry analyzers and a five point (complete differential) in-house CBC machine, two microscopes... We can monitor blood pressure through either Doppler or Dynamap machines. ECG. Multiple IV-Heska pumps. We have steam autoclave, gas and cold sterilization capabilities. My surgical suite is fully equipped from heated table to power drills and surgical staples of different varieties... Doctors can monitor their patients offsite from anywhere in the world with our digital patient video system... And much more.

As the owner of the practice I would love the opportunity to mentor a motivated new grad who loves the profession as much as I do, just as I have done with my 2 previous associates who came here right out of school and have stayed for 12 and 9 years respectively.
