| Job Description | VERY BUSY MIXED ANIMAL PRACTICE, HEAVY ON SURGERY Established in 1976, this mixed practice is located in sunny Las Cruces, NM, less than an hour north of El Paso, TX. This is a great family location between two national forests and near Elephant Butte Recreation Area and Ruidoso skiing. Las Cruces is home to New Mexico State University and annual host to the Whole Enchilada Festival. Split emergengy calls assistants assigned on call with you, pager and cell phone provided. $5000.00 SIGNING BONUS / SALARY & PERCENT / BENEFITS Upon signing a one year contract, you will receive a signing bonus of $5000.00. Your wages should be in the neighborhood of $64,000.00 for the first year and does not include signing bonus or benefits. Benefits: We pay half of your AVMA Major Medical premium, we pay all your liability for $300,000/$900,000 AVMA Liability insurance coverage, we pay for your New Mexico licensure, we pay for your membership to the AVMA and NMVMA, and we pay for you state and federal prescription drug licensing fees. In addition, we pay for up to 30 hours continuing education which includes ari fare, hotel, and conference fees.
