Job Description

Position One to begin July 1, 2008.   Position Two to begin January 2, 2009.

The emphasis will be in providing after hours emergency surgical and medical care for large animal patients.   The incumbents will direct and assist house officers and senior veterinary students in the management of emergency patients.   The incumbents will have primary case management of all after-hours emergency patients.   For residents pursuing board certification, some time will be allotted for board preparation prior to the examination. 

Qualifications Applicants must have a DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited College of Veterinary Medicine, and board eligibility or diplomate status in the American College of Veterinary Surgery, large animal. Individuals successfully completing a large animal surgical residency will be considered. Some expertise in large animal medicine and intensive care is preferred.
Compensation Commensurate with training and experience
