| Job Description | The Animal Emergency Referral Center (AERC) has 2 positions available for a rotating internship in Surgery, Internal Medicine and Emergency/Critical Care. The length of the internship is 1 year and runs from July 1, 2008 – July 5, 2009. Please visit our website at aercvet.comThe professional team includes 2 diplomats in Internal Medicine, 1 diplomat in Veterinary Surgery, and 1 residency trained Emergency/Critical Care veterinarian. A diplomat in Radiology is available for consultation on premise 4 days a week. AERC is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Interns are mentored at all times, and will not be expected to work alone during shifts; however, interns will be given primary case responsibility. Interns will be provided with health care benefits including medical, dental, and vision. The salary is $35,000/year. |
