| Job Description | The Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital in Bothell, WA is offering a 54-week internship in avian and exotic animal medicine. Immediate opening starting July 2008. The program involves clinical training, clinical research, and academic study. Training is through the Avian and Exotic Animal Hospital (www.exoticsvet.com). The only dedicated exotic animal hospital offering 24 hour emergency services in Western Washington. Case load is approximately 40% Avian/ 30% Reptile/ 30% Exotic Mammal. Program is intended to prepare graduating interns to move onto additional residency training, or onto exciting avian/exotic careers they could not have otherwise achieved. Benefits include: paid vacation, CE reimbursement, health insurance, and potential generous production bonuses. Interested parties should submit a letter of intent, curriculum vitae, recent school transcript, and at least 3 letters of recommendation. Washington licensure is required. |
