| Job Description | Calhan Veterinary Clinic is looking for a part-time veterinarian for our mixed-animal practice. We are located about 35 miles northeast of Colorado Springs, off of Highway 24. We are only an hour away from fishing, hiking, camping and other enjoyment of the Rocky Mountains. Colorado Springs offers fine arts, major artist performances, and all the amenities of a big city.Calhan Veterinary Clinic is a progressive, mixed-animal practice – predominately small animal. We have a dental x-ray machine, ultrasound, general x-ray, in-house lab, large and small animal anesthesia, round tub and chute for cattle work, 2 indoor stalls, and other amenities. We are proponents of continuing education, and encourage our staff to increase their knowledge. We currently have 2 full-time techs, and one part-time tech/office manager, as well as a veterinary assistant/cleaning staff member.
