| Job Description | Burch Creek Animal Hospital is an AAHA accredited hospital located in the foothills of Ogden, Utah. We are looking for a 3rd veterinarian to work either part or full time. We are a full service small animal hospital and we strive to provide the best in patient care and client service. You will have the opportunity to practice cutting edge medicine and surgery and enjoy unlimited outdoor recreation in your own backyard. Our local Animal Emergency Center takes all after hours and weekend calls. We offer orthopedics, CO2 laser surgery, dentistry including dental x-rays, in-house laboratory and pharmacy. We focus on wellness and prevention and our staff delivers the highest level of care and service. We employ a full-time practice manager, and typically have 3-4 support staff for each veterinarian at any one time. Our veterinary technicians are well trained and utilized to free the Doctors to practice medicine and surgery. Our two present veterinarians, Dr. Klar and Dr. Clough have 10 and 14 years of experience respectively. Our veterinarians are paid a base salary plus bonus based on production and our compensation package is second to none. We offer health insurance, professional dues and licenses, continuing education and a generous 401(k) plan. Once eligible for our 401(K) plan, we pay an additional 5% of your salary into your 401(k) account.Ogden is a medium sized mountain town that offers abundant recreational opportunities. We have three ski resorts within 40 minutes of town. Miles of hiking, running, and mountain biking trails exist on Ogden’s benches and in the nearby mountains. Two rivers run through town, with a kayak park located on the Weber River. Ogden is marketing itself as a destination Mecca for many other outdoor sports, such as water skiing and rock and ice climbing. The local economy is thriving and attracting many new outdoor companies such as Rossignol, Amer Sports, Goode Skis, and many others. Ogden has a temperate four-season climate and we consider it a great place to live. |
