The Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital and Department of Clinical Sciences, College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University invite applications for a Clinical Track Assistant Professor position in Equine Field Service.

This position is 85% clinical service and 15% outreach activity/professional development. The incumbent will take the lead in directing the Equine Field Service rotation for senior veterinary students, provide scheduled and emergency service to our local clientele and will be responsible for outreach and community service activities for the Equine Section. Clinical instruction will include daily supervision of senior students and house officers in patient care and client communication. A limited number of didactic lectures targeted towards preventive medicine, regulatory guidelines and client communication will be assigned. Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree.

Qualifications Applicants with board certification in surgery, medicine, theriogenology or practitioner boards are encouraged to apply. Extensive field practice experience is important.
Compensation Salary will be commensurate with the applicant's experience and qualifications.
