| Job Description | Associate Veterinarian…Full/Part Time Busy small animal, AAHA accredited practice in Western Pennsylvania is looking for an associate veterinarian to complement our practice. We are a progressive practice that believes our patients and clients should be treated as family. We strive to keep up with medical and technological advances in order to provide the best care possible. We also believe that a work place functions best in a relaxed and affable atmosphere. We have 5 veterinarians currently on staff (1 is retiring this year). We have a support staff of 19 employees and experience little staff turnover. Our practice offers all the standard perks including: in house laboratory, diagnostic radiology including ultrasound and a digital dental unit, tonopen, advanced anesthetic monitoring, ICU, isolation ward, full soft and orthopedic surgical abilities including bone plating, chemotherapy and access to several specialty clinics. Our practice is in Venango County in Pennsylvania. Franklin is a small town located along the Allegheny River and offers the best of small town life and outdoor activity. We are located within easy driving distance of Pittsburgh, Erie and Cleveland. Don’t let the quiet small town fool you, we are a very busy practice and enjoy a wide variety of medical and surgical cases. Salary is based on experience and calculated as a percentage of gross production. New graduates are welcome and are guaranteed a first year salary of at least $65,000.00 (assuming full time). Benefits include paid memberships in AVMA, PVMA, AAHA and VIN. Also DEA and State license fees are paid. Health insurance is paid for as well as participation is both 401K and Profit Sharing retirement plans. Continuing education is also paid for by the clinic.
