Job Description

Grassland Veterinary Service is looking for a second veterinarian in a two doctor practice that is 60% small animal / equine and 40% cattle / goats / sheep / pigs. Second doctor would do primarialy small animal / equine and some cattle. Currently doing equine breeding work which could continue if you choose. There are two separate barns and a small animal office with 3 exam rooms, treatment area, surgery room, kennel and grooming room. One barn is for cattle with a hydrolic chute, tub, OB chute, and several holding pens, and one barn for horses with stocks and 4 stalls. Also have the pneumatice dental tools for horse teeth floating. We offer in-house diagnostics including Vetscan chemistry analyzer, Vetscan CBC machine, ultrasound, portable X-ray with automatic processor, surgical monitoring (including HR, RR, ECG, pulse ox) and dental equipment. This practice serves several surrounding communities with a large practice area. Job comes with use of truck and vet box for mobile calls. Paid CE, health insurance, and vacation time. We have great facilities with nice small town life, 35 min.south of Norman.
