| Job Description | Main Purpose of the Job · Assist clinics in helping to protect more pets with HEARTGARD® and FRONTLINE® Brand Products· Educate clients on year-round prevention and cost savings· Educate staff on client education skills · Establish a process to track purchasing habits and compliance · Increase clinic profitability
Principal Duties and Responsibilities 1) Effectively Manage Assigned Territory for Business Growth.a) Establish clinic goals for sales and dispensing ratesb) Communicate expectations and activities for Receptionists, Technicians and Veterinarians 2) Maximize Territory Potential Using Effective Time and Territory Management Practicesa) Responsibility for approximately 200 clinics, with visits every 3 weeks 3) Establish Customer Education Activitiesa) Review prescription labels and messagesb) Set up reminders for HEARGARD® and FRONTLINE®c) Implement Puppy/Kitten Program d) Promote Heartworm Awareness Month with specific promotional activities and merchandising 4) Conduct Staff Education Meetingsa) Set a schedule of meetings with specific topics and expectations on attendeesb) Educate staff on how to talk to customers about flea problems, FRONTLINE®, Heartworm disease and prevention and HEARTGARD®
Act in a responsible and professional manner that reflects the Vision, Mission and Values of the organization. The ideal candidate will about 24 hours/wk at $15/hr and go to local small animal vet clinics to help educate the staff on proper usage of the products listed above and how to effectively merchandise the products. It's not sales of the product, but educating individuals within the clinic no how to effectively promote sales. The position will last at least 10 weeks and potentially longer for the right fit. It's a great seems like a great position for a student or someone who is interested in working with vet clinics.

| Qualifications | Education: Bachelors Degree or higher preferred. Candidates with extensive work experience may be considered.
Work Experience:2-3 years experience in and around small animal vet clinics preferred. Vet Tech & Animal Health Sales Reps are encouraged to apply. Special Skills:Strong communication skills, customer service, time/territory management, leadership, problem solving, agility, business acumen, computer proficiency with MS Office applications, companion animal background, ability to successfully work in a dynamic environment. Travel Requirements:Daily travel within assigned geography. Overnight travel would be an exception. Travel will be required for new hire training.
