| Job Description | New free-standing facility located in northwest Houston is offering externships for students interested in pursuing a career in small animal medicine. 90% of our patients are dogs and cats, but we also care for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and smaller pocket pets. We have an in-house Vetscan chemistry and cbc machine, digital dental rads, air driven dentalaire unit, tonopen, ultrasound, ecg, doppler blood pressure and surgical vetspecs monitors. Our team is friendly, outgoing and eager to welcome the enthusiasm of a veterinary student. We have a cozy home adjacent to the clinic if housing is required.
