ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN VETERINARY RADIOLOGY/DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING
The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences, Center for Veterinary Health Sciences, Oklahoma State University invites applications for a tenure-track or clinical track faculty position in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging. Duties will include teaching and clinical service in the Radiology Section of the Boren Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital (BVMTH) and didactic lectures and laboratory instruction for veterinary students. Development of innovative teaching programs and interest in research/scholarship in diagnostic imaging is expected. A DVM degree or equivalent is required. Board certification by the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) is highly desirable, however candidates qualified to take the certification examination will receive full consideration. Appointment will be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Professional rank and salary will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience. The College is cognizant of the economics associated with academic careers and has devised a hospital plan and other methods that provide opportunities for faculty income enhancement. In addition, each faculty member is allowed 2-days/month for outside consulting activities that comply with College conflict of interest guidelines.
