| Job Description | Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery, Race Horse Services, PLLC (“ESMS”) has an opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Intern looking to jumpstart their career in the exciting world of equine racetrack medicine. This internship runs from June 1, 2010 through May 31, 2011. ESMS is a large multiple-veterinarian equine racetrack practice providing veterinary services at horseracing tracks in New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida and Iowa. We utilize the latest technologies including digital radiology, ultrasound, extracorporeal shockwave therapy, etc., and work on some of the finest Quarter Horse and Thoroughbred race horses in the world. This position requires travel and extended stays at multiple racetrack locations throughout the southwestern United States and Florida. We offer excellent wages and benefits package, including insurance, paid CE, and a housing allowance. |
| Qualifications | We seek a team-oriented individual with good horsemanship skills and a strong work ethic. Racetrack experience is definitely a plus.
