| Job Description | Internal Medicine Specialist
Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital opened in 2008 in our new “green” facility equipped with advanced diagnostic equipment including DR radiology, digital ultrasound/endoscopy, two fully equipped surgical suites, an in-house lab/pharmacy, blood products and transfusion service. We are a surgical referral practice and 24/7 emergency hospital, with seven emergency veterinarians, residency trained criticalist and an established surgeon, seeking a second surgeon and an internal medicine specialist. Candidates should be either board-certified or have successfully completed an approved residency program.
Our rapidly expanding patient volume provides an excellent opportunity to see a variety of specialty cases and develop your special interests. There is potential for future buy-in. Compensation includes a competitive salary plus production and a generous benefits package. Our Wilkes Barre/Scranton location is a 2-hour drive from Philadelphia and NYC. The region offers large city amenities; an international airport, minor league sports teams, major concert venues, shopping, fine dining, and cultural activities, while retaining a small town atmosphere.
