| How to Apply | Wade Hampton Veterinary Clinic is located in the Upstate area of South Carolina in the city of Greenville. At the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Greenville enjoys the beauty and opportunities offered by the mountains as well as access to the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, Charleston, and Hilton Head. Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC are both within two hours drive of Greenville. The breathtaking Blue Ridge Parkway, the regal Biltmore House and Gardens, Lakes Hartwell, Keowee, and Jocassee are all just minutes away. Greenville is home to BMW of North America, Michelin tire, and numerous major companies, offering Greenville financial prosperity and growth.
Dr. Marilyn Grist, owner of Wade Hampton Veterinary Clinic, has been here for 36 years, providing “best medicine” companion pet care for our clients. In addition to Dr. Grist, we have Dr. Susan Bradley and Dr. Patrick Mornane, who are here as Associate Veterinarians, as well as Dr. Dale Paley, who serves as a relief veterinarian. We are a companion animal practice. Our facilities have a hint of Victorian furnishings, with old fashioned hardwood floors. Yet we offer high quality technology for patient care. Our practice has 3 exam rooms, a surgery room, an X-ray room and Lab. We use Digital Radiology, in-house blood and urine testing, EKG, and have a Pharmacy. We have in-house grooming facilities, and both indoor and outdoor kennels, and an isolation ward. Further, we have a popular Mobile Vaccination Clinic that is our largest source for providing new clients to the practice. Presently, we are interested in adding a forward-looking veterinarian that would be interested in practicing in any specialty. Capabilities in the care and treatment of Exotics, should you desire to treat them, would expand the utilization of your Veterinary skills here. Additionally, there is the potential for a partnership/partial ownership in the practice. It is our desire to open up an after-hours Emergency Clinic, which requires someone with a passion for Emergency care. If you fit any of these scenarios, let’s talk! |
