| Job Description |
Pre-Requisites: Graduate or pending graduate of an AVMA accredited veterinary school.
o Goal: To introduce the Intern to private equine practice focusing on general practice, emergencies, surgery and anesthesia with exposure and guidance in dentistry, radiology reproduction, and practice management. o Application: Please send resume to Dr. Shane Miller (docdvmshane@msn.com) o Nevada licensure required o Duties: Assist and perform surgeries, anesthetic monitoring, general practice in-house and ambulatory appointments including advanced dentistry and reproduction. Weekly rounds case discussions and articles reviews. Shared emergency duty. o Supervision: Direct rotating supervision amongst all veterinarians for the first six months, then indirect supervision for the remainder of the internship. o Employee Benefits: Medical and professional liability insurance dues and licenses. $24,000/yr.
