| Job Description | Associate needed for well-established (20 years) mixed animal practice located in rural SE Kansas conveniently situated between three major cities.
Our clinic offers a friendly work environment, loyal growing client base (which draws from KS, OK, and MO) and an experienced and stable support staff. This is a great opportunity offering supportive mentorship and potential for partnership.
The facility is newly remodeled and well equipped with full laboratory, in-house EIA lab, digital radiology, surgical facilities (incl. wet prep table), exam room, pharmacy, and paperless records. The large animal portion boasts a hydraulic tip chute with brand new hydraulically adjustable alley, custom designed adjustable equine stocks and a brand new portable Silencer hydraulic mobile chute. The clinic offers general surgery, medicine, equine power dentistry, chiropractic, acupuncture, large animal mobile service, emergency mobile services, and much more. Candidate must be willing to share both during and after hours call services.
Candidate must demonstrate diagnostic and surgical skills, and also be confidant, personable, self-motivated, hard working, a good communicator and a team player.
